intelligence (BI) team
? Should the BI team be all internal, or should we look for outside
You might hate me for this answer, but it depends. Yes, I know that that's the standard
consultant response. I would ask you this, though: Do you have people at your organization with
prior BI implementation and/or optimization experience that would be useful as part of a BI team?
And are you implementing a new BI
, or is this merely the extension of a current one?

As a general rule, it's hard for me to conceive of an organization without internal BI expertise
