The O'Reilly Strata event held recently in Santa Clara, Calif., was the place to be to learn about the hottest topics on the minds of business analytics and data management professionals.

Sessions at the Strata conference covered data science; the Apache Hadoop ecosystem; big data technology management techniques; the art of data wrangling; Python for data analytics; and there was no shortage of news broken at the event.
